Gemini Photo Editing Guide
Use any prompt from CopyPromptAI in Gemini. The steps are simple, and they work the same for boys, girls and couple prompts.
How to do it
- Pick a prompt on CopyPromptAI and copy the full prompt text with the Copy button.
- Open Gemini in a new chat. Start fresh for each new look, so an old photo does not mix into the new one.
- Upload a clear, front-facing photo of yourself in good light. For a couple prompt, upload clear photos of both people and say so in your message if the tool asks.
- Paste the prompt and send it. Do not add extra style requests in the same message — the prompt already covers outfit, light and camera.
- Check the face first. If the face looks wrong, regenerate once or twice before changing anything else.
- Change only one thing at a time — for example, only the colour, only the background, or only the pose. Changing everything at once makes it hard to see what broke.
Fix common problems
- Face looks different: use a clearer, front-facing photo, and regenerate. Avoid sunglasses, heavy shadows or a side profile.
- Extra fingers or odd hands: regenerate, and if it repeats, add “correct hands, five fingers on each hand, no extra fingers” to your next message.
- Feet cut off in a full-body prompt: say “show the full body including feet” and check that your uploaded photo has headroom and space below the feet.
- Text or watermark on the image: add “no text, no watermark” and regenerate.
- Cartoon look when you wanted a photo: add “realistic photo, not cartoon” and regenerate. For Ghibli, Pixar and anime prompts, the illustrated look is intended.
- Colours look wrong: change only the colour in your next message, for example “keep everything the same, change the kurta to navy blue”.
In Gemini, image editing works from your uploaded photo in the same chat. If a result looks off, regenerate in that same chat before starting over, so the tool keeps your photo as the reference. Remember: use only your own photo.
